  • 'Spy' is the wrong word! The kids KNOW that I WILL occasionally look up their facebook accounts. The family rule is: They have to 'friend' Mom and Dad...if they get out of line on Facebook they loose internet for a week or more. Generally, we don't have problems with it though.

  • Two wrongs don't make a right. Ya, the guy with the phone distrurbed the performance, and the orchestra and the patrons all suffered, but from what we read, the conducter resorted to humiliating the man. I hope Alan Gilbert never has his phone go off at an inopportune time.

  • Holly Crap! That they even THINK this bill is good 'for the people' in absolutely nuts! As long as pay for minute plans exist, having unauthorized calls to cell phones should remain illegal. Any bozo with a moral compass can see that.

  • I saw the section of the article about the 4 Barrel Carb too and I think they were pretty darn common in the late 60's. 69 Vette's, for instance, had them.

  • Just an update, the printer function started working after I rebooted the printer. Wireless iTunes sync started working after....well....I don't know what the heck happened but it mysteriously turned on about an hour after rebooting my pc. So I'm happy now, but maybe a little befuddled still.

  • I upgraded my iPhone 4 yesterday and share issues that others have had: Mainly, printing no longer works, the wireless iTunes sync doesn't work etc.  I don't think this release was quite ready for primetime yet.  (Camera is nice though!)

  • Around 1984 HBO ran a comedy show called Not Necessarily the News. They spoofed a commercial of the then divesting AT&T and ended it with the tagline: "AT&T: We'll be a monopoly again...sometime....soon" So true, so true.

  • I liked the National Treasure movies, liked Ghost Rider...no one else could pull that role off as well as Cage. I really, really liked Knowing until the last 15 minutes.

  • I thought Chrysler was big for making an advertisement for Detroit as much as the 200, and Eminem pulled it off in a dramatic, awesome way. It is odd when the best commercial of a SuperBowl is not funny...but Chrysler and Eminem made all the rest seem silly, shallow and selfish.
